The problem with many foods is that they naturally have inherent defects that consumers find undesirable, such as bitterness or aftertastes.  These defects may be masked by the addition of additives, or removed through non-natural methods.

Removal of these defects often requires food to undergo processing with either harsh chemicals or genetically modified products.  These processes may strip away the valuable phytonutrients from the food, requiring them to be fortified or artificially enriched to regain their nutritional value.  These methods are non-natural, potentially unhealthy, and produce nutrients that are difficult for the body to absorb.  Our process removes the defects naturally, maintains the nutrition quality of the food, and imparts the health benefits of the mushrooms into the food.
